Cane Juice Instructions

Besides drinking our fresh pressed cane at the market, you can take it home and create amazing fun filled recipes. We sell  half gallons fresh or frozen. If you purchase the cane frozen, let it defrost on the counter for three to five hours or put it in the fridge over night. Cane juice last roughly 3-5 days once defrosted, the more citrus you add to the juice the longer it will last. Although it rarely happens that we can't finish a half gallon before it spoils, I will fill up an ice cube tray, freeze, and save them for my smoothies or to sweeten a cup of tea. With the perfect balance of natural sugar and water, you can create a mouth watering lemonade, make popsicles, boil it down to a simple syrup, or add it to your thai curry. At the market we typically serve pure cane juice plain or with a mix and match of add ins such as kumquat, lemon, lime, organic strawberry and ginger, but we also enjoy passion fruit, grapefruit, pineapple,or coconut water.
